Meet Heidi
Heidi Rosenfelder, J.D., CPCC, PCC is a seasoned, certified executive coach, with over a decade of experience coaching executives, leaders, and creatives in the entertainment industry, academia, and a variety of other corporate and non-profit organizations. Coaching directors and other filmmakers gave her deep insights into the power of story and story structure, and the importance of continuing to refine and iterate. She combines this storytelling expertise with a deep understanding of personal and professional development to help you write the script for your most compelling third act.
Heidi’s own story started in Switzerland. She lost her mother at five years old and her Third Act coaching work is in part motivated by the fact that her mother never got to have a Third Act (and barely a Second ). If we are so lucky to have a Third Act, Heidi believes that we should live it fully, with intention and purpose.
After graduating with a law degree from the University of Zürich, Heidi moved to the US for an internship at UC Berkeley which turned into a permanent role. She then pursued her second law degree, passed the California bar, and practiced employment law for 16 years. In 2012 she changed careers and became a CTI trained executive coach and leadership consultant to organizations throughout the Bay Area. In 2016, Heidi joined Pixar Animation Studios, coaching leaders at all levels of the organization, facilitating team sessions and off-sites, and designing and conducting Pixar’s leadership training. In 2023, she left Pixar to co-found Creativity Partners, a culture change consultancy dedicated to helping leaders and their teams move past roadblocks that waste time and energy and get in the way of innovation and excellence. In addition to her Third Act coaching work, Heidi remains an active associate with Creativity Partners. When she is not working, she can be found traveling, reading, watching movies or practicing yoga. Her happy place is the Outer Cape on Cape Cod and she is happiest on adventures with her husband David and grown son Lucas.
